100 Thieves was founded in 2017  but it already achieved commendable success in multiple esports titles. Now, the organization continues to grow in strength with the addition of two new co-owners. The immensely successful streamer Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter and YouTuber Jack “CourageJD” Dunlop become the latest co-owners of the budding esports organization.  Valkyrae and Courage join recording artist Drake and Cleveland Cavaliers Majority Owner Daniel Gilbert in the 100 Thieves ownership group. This esports organization can only go up from here.

FLIGHT OF THE VALKYRAE

Valkyrae joined 100T as its first female content creator back in 2018. She slowly gained popularity across the years culminating in a Content Creator of the Year award at the 2020 Gamer Awards. The famous streamer expressed her excitement and happiness about her new position as a co-owner of 100 Thieves.

“Looking back, I just feel like it’s been such a long journey. And now being, not just a co-owner, but a female co-owner, like how did this even happen! It just feels like everything just played out so unbelievably well. I feel very lucky and very fortunate to be in this position. I’m also very grateful because I feel I can be a very good role model, not just to our community but to females as well.”

Recently, Valkyrae joined Jimmy Fallon in a special Among Us stream. She also received the distinction of being the most viewed female streamer in 2020.

CourageJD, on the other hand, joined 100T as a content creator back in May 2019.  100 Thieves started out with Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, a veteran OpTic Gaming Call of Duty player.  Haag retired from the professional scene before founding his own esports organization. 100T slowly established itself in multiple esports titles such as Call of Duty, Fortnite, and League of Legends.

Hopefully, the organization and all its players continue to grow under its new co-owners Valkyrae and CourageJD.
