The Forgotten City Release Date is on July 28, 2021. It is developed by Modern Storyteller and co-published by Dear Villagers. The game is the re-imagining of the popular Skyrim mod. To differentiate it from the mod, it moves on to a new setting: Ancient Rome. In The Forgotten City, you are tasked to unravel the mystery of this cursed Roman City. 2,000 years ago, this city is on the verge of destruction. If one person sins, everyone dies.
Players can roleplay whoever they want with full customization for their time-traveling character. Combat is an option – but violence won't help you solve the mysteries of The Forgotten City. Your decisions matter – who you talk to and what you learn matter. Everything you do in this open-world exploration game matters. The game features a non-linear storyline with multiple endings, allowing for a lot of replayability. The life and death of everyone in the city are in your hands. How will you respond? Who will you grant life and death?
The Forgotten City comes out on Steam on July 28, 2021. You can wishlist the game and get notified once it comes online. It's also coming out on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and the Nintendo Switch at a later date.
