Evil Geniuses is wrapping up the final members of their League of Legends squad with another important pickup. Lee “IgNar” Dong-geun will play for EG next year but will he finally find a place for himself on this new team? IgNar has had a rocky career playing in Korea, EU, and now finally NA. He has yet to win a local title but he came close last year with FlyQuest when they made the finals in the Spring and Summer playoffs.

The dark side

IgNar has been a consistent Support player despite his lack of title wins. He has been repeatedly praised by casters and analysts for his preference for initiate-heavy Supports. He mostly likes to start team fights with well-placed CC skills but that has yet to translate into any championships. EG may have picked up a wildcard for their roster but Ignar himself must play his absolute best if he hopes to break his drought.

Evil Geniuses is allegedly on track to acquire a strong player for their team. Jung “Impact” Eon-yeong will reportedly join the team for next year. Impact is a world champion and a multi-NA champion. He will certainly be a fine addition to the EG roster. There is currently no confirmation on any changes made to the team's Top position.

It's difficult to rebuild a team following a lackluster season but EG seems to be making careful choices with their acquisitions. Hopefully, we'll see the best of IgNar next season as EG hopes to win its first local title.
