The LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is coming out on April 5, 2022, on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series X. The game serves as a direct follow-up to 2016's LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Instead of completing the sequel trilogy with new games, this new game instead covers ALL nine films in the Skywalker Saga, allowing you to play through from The Phantom Menace to the Rise of Skywalker in one complete package. However, unlike previous games in the series (but similar to The Force Awakens), the game will feature more than one central hub for players to explore.
But don't worry, you can go through any of the game's 45 levels in any order you wish, allowing you to play in chronological order, release order, or even in any order you'd like. Jump straight to your favorite moments in the series and play a brand-new LEGO Star Wars game like never before. Featuring 300 playable characters, LEGO Star Wars also revamps the game's combat to make characters feel more unique, which even includes a third-person over-the-shoulder view for the blaster-wielding characters. Lightsaber characters also have access to force abilities, and attack combos composed of light and heavy attacks.
