A new Bravely Default mobile gacha game will be coming to Android and iOS users in Japan. Called Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights, this new game will be a great nostalgia trip for long-time fans.

Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights will let players experience a new brand of gameplay. For the first time in the series, Brilliant Lights will be a gacha game. Like what can be seen from the trailer, players will likely be able to play as their favorite characters in the series if they're lucky enough to pull them. The game will feature similar gameplay as the ones on the consoles, which should make players feel at home. However, there will be some changes to make the game fit well with the new mobile platform.
SQUARE ENIX announced the Brilliant Lights as part of the company's 10th-year anniversary celebration for the series. With the success of Bravely Default II, it looks like SQUARE ENIX will be sticking to its guns for this series moving forward. With 3 million units sold both digital and physical, this series is starting to become one of the company's most successful franchises.
Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights does not yet have a release date. There's also no official announcement yet on whether this game will have an international release.
