The Steam Lunar New Year Sale is upon us! Thousands of games are now on sale and ready for you to purchase in celebration of the Chinese New Year.

THE YEAR'S FIRST STEAM SALE IS THE STEAM CHINESE NEW YEAR SALE

This year's first Steam sale is none other than the Steam Lunar New Year sale. Just like how it's been in the previous major sales on Steam, thousands of games are on huge discounts and deals. The Steam Chinese New Year Sale runs from today until February 15, 10AM PT. You still have a lot of time to browse and decide on your choices.

Last year, Steam introduced a new Points Shop. Unlike the Steam Sales of old, recent Steam Sales no longer feature limited-time points and rewards. Instead, points you earn from any Steam Sale gets carried over even after the sale ends. The points you earn can be spent on the Points Shop for various cosmetics to decorate your Steam profile.

For the Steam Lunar New Year Sale, you can purchase Chinese New Year-themed cosmetics. This includes stickers and emoticons to use in chat, a profile background wallpaper, avatar frames and animated avatars. You can purchase the complete Lunar New Year 2021 cosmetics package for only 16,560 points.

Log-in daily to receive a free random animated sticker to use on your chat! Simply log-in on Steam on your browser or through the client and head to the Points Shop. In case you missed these, you can still purchase the stickers from the Points Shop anytime. Yes, even when the Steam Chinese New Year sale is over.
