Super Bomberman R2's explosive announcement comes with new game modes and a single player mode next year on all modern platforms!
Super Bomberman R2 Release Date: 2023
A sequel to Super Bomberman R, aptly titled Super Bomberman R2, releases in 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and PC! This title boasts multiple new game modes, as well as a single player mode. Read about each below:
New mode “Castle”
Players compete for treasures in the new battle mode “Castle”! Players are divided into two teams: the “Attack Side”, which aims to capture the treasures in the stage, and the “Castle Side”, which protects the treasures!
In “Castle” mode, you can create your own battle stages. You can also upload the stages you created with blocks and gimmicks online.
Share your own stages with players around the world!
Battle mode “Standard”
Enjoy the familiar play style of Bomberman in Battle Mode.
Get together with family and friends! Or even online! Let's have fun with exhilarating Bomberman battles!
Battle Mode “Grand Prix”
Up to 3-player team battles.
Collect “crystals” or compete for the number of “defeats”! Teamwork is the key to victory! Be careful not to get caught in the blast of your teammates
Battle Mode “Battle 64”
Exciting battle royale with “64 players”!
This battle mode was implemented from “Super Bomberman R Online”. Fight off the rivals in the gradually narrowing area and grab Bomber One!
Story Mode
The single player “Story” mode takes players on a brand new adventure.
A mysterious danger looms over the horizon. Can the Bomber Brothers and their new friends save the universe and keep the peace?
