Genshin Impact‘s Moonchaser Moonlight Merriment event is one of the highlights of Genshin Impact 2.1. It's a brand-new limited-time event that will encourage players to come back to Liyue. To access this, players will have to be at least AR 28 and have finished the quests Chapter I: Act III – A New Star Approaches and Trulla Chapter: Act I – Mondstadt Gastronomy Trip. Basically, if you've already met the Liyue characters and have done the first chapter of Xiangling's Story Quest, then you're good to go. Needless to say, most of you who are up to date with the Archon Quests will most likely be able to partake in this event as soon as possible.

To partake in the event, players will have to have completed the Chi of Yore questline, which involves the player unlocking secrets in Qingce Village. The player will get to see again old friends from Liyue as they help Xiangling come up with new recipes. If you've been aching to reunite with Keqing, Ningguang, and Qiqi, then you'll definitely enjoy this event.

Moonchaser Moonlight Merriment will start on September 27, 2021, and will run until October 11, 2021. This gives players roughly two weeks to do everything that the event has to offer. During the event, Travelers can complete quests in Moonchase Tales or take part in Moonlight Seeker and Trail of Delicacies challenges to obtain rewards such as the event-exclusive claymore, Luxurious Sea-Lord as well as its refinement materials, Crown of Insight, Primogems, recipes, and more.

Yes, this event will be your only chance to grab the Luxurious Sea-Lord claymore. The tuna sword, if you will. It's fun because it summons a Hydro fish when you execute an Elemental Burst with the weapon equipped. Check out our in-depth look at the new weapons coming in Genshin Impact 2.1.
