Genshin Impact 2.1 will once again bring a lot of great new content for miHoYo's breakout title. While most players will look forward to the new characters the most, the new Genshin Impact 2.1 weapons are just equally important. Here's a quick dive into what these weapons are.

Genshin Impact 2.1 Raiden Shogun Signature Weapon: Engulfing Lightning

The first 5-Star weapon in our list is the signature weapon of the Raiden Shogun herself: the 5-Star Polearm Engulfing Lightning. Unlike most polearms we've seen so far, this one looks like a glaive or a halberd, with a blade at the tip of the pole instead of a pointy metal.

Engulfing Lightning has the Weapon Skill – Timeless Dream: Eternal Stove. This increases Attack by 28% of Energy Recharge over the base 100%, for a maximum of 80% bonus ATK. This also gives 30% Energy Recharge for 12s after using an Elemental Burst. This plays well with Raiden Shogun's Elemental Burst, as it will allow her enough time to gain enough energy to trigger Secret Art: Musou Shinsetsu again.

Sangonomiya Kokomi Signature Weapon: Fumetsu Gekka

As for Sangonomiya Kokomi, she will be getting the 5-Star Catalyst weapon called Fumetsu Gekka. Fumetsu Gekka has the Byakuya Kougetsu weapon ability, which reads:

“Healing bonus increased by 20%, Normal Attack DMG is increased by 3% of the Max HP of the character equipping this weapon. For 12s, after using an Elemental Burst, Normal Attacks that hit opponents will restore 0.6 Energy. Energy can be restored this way once every 0.1s.”

While Kokomi will surely love the Byakuya Kougetsu, it will also be a great pick-up for Barbara. Just like Raiden Shogun's signature weapon above, Kokomi's will also help you get to your next Elemental Burst right after using one.

New Non-Banner Weapon in 2.1: Luxurious Sea-Lord

5-Star weapons will always appear as part of a wish banner. That's a fact. But there are more than just these two new 5-Star weapons coming up for Genshin Impact 2.1. One of these is a rather odd but funny weapon: the Luxurious Sea-Lord. The Luxurious Sea-Lord is a 4-Star Claymore. It has the special ability called Oceanic Victory, with the following description:

“Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 12%. When Elemental Burst hits opponents, there is a 100% chance of summoning a titanic tuna that charges and deals 100% ATK as AoE DMG. This effect can occur once every 15s.”

That sounds both amazing and hilarious – imagine using Diluc's Dawn and having a giant tuna coming out alongside the Phoenix. At the same time, the 12% increase in Elemental Burst DMG is also not something to scoff at.

You can only get this new weapon through the Moonlight Merriment event, and it can only be refined using the Emperor's Balsam item. The Emperor's Balsam can also only be acquired through Moonlight Merriment.

PlayStation timed-exclusive Predator Bow for Aloy

PlayStation users will gain exclusive access to the new 5-Star character Aloy and her 5-Star bow Predator when version 2.1 rolls out. Anyone logging into the game with a PlayStation console will get both Aloy and the Predator Bow, which they can claim through their mailbox.

The Predator Bow has the ability Strong Strike, with the description reading:

“Dealing Cryo DMG to opponents increases this character's Normal and Charged Attack DMG by 10 for 6s. This effect can have a maximum of 2 stacks. Additionally, when Aloy equips Predator, ATK is increased by 66.”
