Genshin Impact’s latest news gave us information about the upcoming banners in version update 1.4. Two important characters are returning: Venti and Childe. If you’ve missed one of them, now’s your chance.

TARTAGLIA RETURNS TO GENSHIN IMPACT IN VERSION 1.4

Childe first appeared following Klee’s banner months ago. He graced players with a very unique playstyle. Childe used a bow while also specializing in hydro swordsmanship. Now, he's returning to Genshin Impact following Venti’s re-run. Meanwhile, his banner will also carry the new 4-star character, Rosaria

Childe is a 5-star hydro bow character coming from Snezhnaya, who traveled to Liyue to head the Fatui’s funding in the city. Despite being a bow character, he is known for his quick-switch melee play style in which he deals massive AoE Hydro damage to enemies.

If you are one of the players who didn’t get Childe during his first banner, you still have a lot of time to prepare for him. His re-run should arrive around two weeks after Venti’s re-run banner. This is also a good time to try and pull for his constellations. Most of them significantly enhance Childe’s damage output. The most notable constellation for Childe is C1, which decreases his Skill’s cooldown. His C3  increases his damage during his Melee Stance. Finally, C6 resets his Skill when he uses his Elemental Burst during Melee Stance. Don’t worry if you cannot afford constellations, because Childe is still able to deal insane damage at C0 with the right build and setup.

Childe may be a complex character to play because of his quirky abilities, but he will sufficiently carry your team in Genshin Impact. And if you’re planning to roll for Childe, you might even get Rosaria as a bonus. Rosaria is also a great addition to your cryo team, having the unique cryo-polearm pairing.
