Genshin Impact version 1.0 will be exiting soon, with version 2.0 taking over on July 21, 2021. But miHoYo will not let version 1.0 leave without any fanfare. To celebrate, miHoYo will be releasing a 4-disc, 48-track original soundtrack album for Genshin Impact. Called “The Shimmering Voyage”, the album will contain songs from both Liyue and Mondstadt. If you could remember, music in Liyue was performed by the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, with the London Philharmonic Orchestra performing Mondstadt's music.

This upcoming collection of music will surely bring back memories for Travelers traveling to a new region in Inazuma. Listen to the music and remember your battles against Childe and Azhdaha, and relive some of Genshin Impact‘s most iconic moments. Some music from the trailers and cutscenes will also appear in The Shimmering Voyage. A full tracklist is yet to be released by miHoYo.

With The Shimmering Voyage coming out soon, we also set our eyes on the music for version 2.0. For Inazuma, its music will be performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. The arrangements will of course be made by composer Yu-Peng Chen once again. This new music will debut when Genshin Impact version 2.0 hits the servers on July 21, 2021, where the first two islands of Inazuma come out.
