The New York Giants have released a statement after a photo of quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley surfaced showing the two players at a bar with no masks while the COVID-19 pandemic is still going on.
The DJ who was with Barkley and Jones says the photo is from last year, but the Giants are going to do their due diligence just to make sure.

DJ Lugghead, when contacted by Greg Joyce of the New York Post, said he posted the photo from last year recently because it was a memory that popped up on Instagram.
“It was all posts from last year,” the DJ said in a phone interview Saturday. “It’s a memory that popped up from a year ago. That’s why I posted it. I actually deleted everything after all this nonsense.”
For what it's worth, Ralph Vacchiano of SNY is reporting that the photo is actually from Friday night and not last year.
According to a source familiar with the situation, the video was from last night. Giants QB Daniel Jones and some teammates and friends had dinner in a private room at a restaurant in the city. Then they were invited to have a drink in a bar that is closed to the public. …

The Giants lost to the Philadelphia Eagles to begin Week 7. Saquon Barkley is traveling with the team despite being out for the year after tearing his ACL in Week 2 against the Chicago Bears, while Daniel Jones is the starting quarterback for the Giants.
It's going to be interesting to see what happens with this situation. The Giants will probably be upset with Jones and Barkley if the photo is from Friday.
