It was another rough night at the office for Eli Manning and the New York Giants on Thursday night. Manning and Co. were pummeled 34-13 by the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Giants were booed by the home crowd as they went into the locker room down 24-6 at halftime.

Manning doesn't pay attention to any of that and knows New York simply needs to play better football, according to Curtis Crabtree of ProFootballTalk.

“That’s not something I get caught up in,” Manning said of the boos. “We’ve got to play better football. I understand that. We’ve got to find ways to be in better situations and move the ball and be a more explosive offense and better team.”

Manning admitted frustration after yet another punchless performance by the offense. While rookie running back Saquon Barkley did all he could with 229 total yards of offense and a score, there wasn't much else going on for New York.

Manning was under siege again and struggled to the tune of 24-for-43 passing for 281 yards and an interception. He was sacked four times and posted a quarterback rating of 66.1. The 37-year-old has just six touchdown passes on the season as part of the league's 28th-ranked scoring attack.

With Manning continuing to struggle and the Giants dropping to 1-5, the calls for a new quarterback will only get louder. The veteran isn't going to worry about that, though, and he's going to go out and try to do his job for as long as he can.
