Talent has never been the issue for New York Giants tight end Evan Engram. It has just been a matter of staying on the field.

Since entering the NFL as a first-round draft pick back in 2017, Engram has yet to play a full 16-game campaign. He played in 15 games during his rookie season, and the last two years, he has amassed 19 contests in total.

In 2019, Engram's season was cut short due to a foot injury, one that would require surgery. But the good news for the Giants: Engram has posted an update on his Instagram story, showing clips of him running and cutting and showing no signs of any issues.

The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Mississippi, was in the midst of a terrific year before getting injured this past season, as he had caught 44 passes for 467 yards and three touchdowns through eight games.

Engram broke into the league with a bang three years ago, hauling in 64 receptions for 722 yards and six scores and validating New York's decision to take him with the 23rd overall pick in the NFL Draft.

He was enjoying another impressive year in 2018, having snared 45 balls for 577 yards while reaching the end zone three times, but injuries capped his campaign at 11 contests.

The Giants are coming off of a 2019 season in which they won just four games, missing the playoffs for the third straight year. New York has made the postseason just once since last winning the Super Bowl back in the 2011-12 campaign.
