The New York Giants fell to 4-13 after suffering a Week 18 loss to the Washington Football Team. After yet another disappointing season from the G-Men, fans have begun calling for Joe Judge‘s job. While it was believed to be understood that Judge's job was safe for the 2022 campaign, that may no longer be the case following a dismal end of the season. When asked about his future with the Giants, Judge stayed silent, opting against providing answers for a hypothetical question, via Jordan Raanan.
Joe Judge on the 4-13 season: “Ultimately it’s not good enough. Fans deserve better.”
Adds this didn’t meet their standards. He’s going to get to work immediately to fix things.
Asked if he believes he’ll have that opportunity, Judge declines to get into those hypotheticals.

Judge is well aware that the 4-13 season will go down as a monstrous disappointment and he has vowed to get to work to right the ship immediately. While he may be getting to work quickly after the season ends, he may not have his job for too long if Giants fans get their wishes. He's not focused on that, however, operating under the impression that he'll be back in 2022, but ultimately refusing to discuss his job security.
Since taking over as the Giants head coach, Judge has amassed a 10-23 record, failing to win more than six games in a single season during his two-year tenure with the team.
The Giants' struggles on offense were of particular concern, and Judge's tactics in the regular-season finale were particularly confusing. He was heavily scrutinized for opting for a QB sneak on 3rd & 9 while deep inside the Giants' territory in Week 18.
On the infamous second/third and long QB sneaks, Joe Judge was adamant about not repeating history after last week in Chicago when Giants allowed safety in similar spot.
When asked if it meant giving up on offense, he says it showed confidence in his special teams + defense.

Judge denied that his decision showcased a lack of faith in his offense, though we're not sure even he believes what he's saying at this point. Only time will tell what GM John Mara opts to do with Judge, but anything less than a quick turnaround in 2022 will likely spell the end of his tenure with the franchise.
