New York Giants coach Joe Judge will support any of his players that want to kneel during the national anthem.

Judge said in an interview with Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com that there haven't been any discussions yet about how that would look, but he is open to do whatever he can to help support his players:

“We're going to support the players. We're going to support the players. And I'd say, at this time, we haven't had any game day discussions on what's gonna happen [regarding potential protests], and I think it's important to put that out there, that it's a way's away from us right now.”

The first-year head coach said he plans on having discussions with his players. The ownership is also going to have discussions but it's not going to be about how to stop it, but how they can be supportive:

“We will have those discussions. We'll talk with the players. We'll talk as coaches with the players. Ownership has been involved, and they'll continue to be involved.

“We're going to make it clear that we're going to support the players and the causes they are fighting for.”

Joe Judge knows all this is talk right now, but he wants to prove it to his Giants players that he is actually there to support him.

It doesn't matter what he has said if he decides a couple of months down the road to change his mind and not support the players, as he will lose all of the support from the players.
