After Jerry Rice came out and said New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning doesn't belong in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Landon Collins came to his teammate's defense saying he thinks Manning is going to be in the Hall of Fame.

With Manning's career nearing an end it seems the talk about his career is really heating up, and there are a lot of different opinions. He has won two Super Bowl Rings, which many think get him a direct pass, but other's point to his career and how it's ending for reasons he should stay out.

“Everybody has their opinions, honestly,” Collins said via SNY. “Eli Manning has done a lot of great things. Jerry Rice has done a lot of great, great things. … He sees something different from what we see and I know what I see. To me, I think Eli is gonna be a Hall of Famer.”

This is a response to Rice, who thinks Manning has been too inconsistent in his career, and that should be enough to keep him out of the Hall Of Fame.

“Yes, he has two Super Bowls, but then you look at Drew Brees and what he has accomplished and all of that,” Rice said. “I think in yardage now he's the leader. He's doing great things for that team, and that team is getting better as they go. You can tell he's a great leader and he makes everybody around him better.

There isn't a good answer to this debate until the voters decide after his career is over, and decide he did enough in his career to get in.
