Odell Beckham Jr. has been one of the top wide receivers in the NFL all season long, but the New York Giants have not been very good overall. Unfortunately for the Giants, their season will take yet another hit in Week 14 against the Washington Redskins.

According to a report from Art Stapleton of The Record Sports, Beckham will be forced to miss the team's game against the Redskins due to a quad injury.

New York is currently 4-8 on the season after defeating the Chicago Bears in overtime last week. There have been rumors all season long that the team could blow up the roster, starting with veteran quarterback Eli Manning. Despite all of the rumors, the Giants have stood pat and kept their roster intact.

Beckham has put together a big season, catching 77 passes for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns. He is still one of the most feared playmakers in the league and has come back admirably from a gruesome ankle injury last season.

At just 26 years old, Beckham is in the prime of his career and missing this game might not be a bad thing. With the Giants done for the season as far as playoff contention is concerned, resting Beckham may have been a consideration at some point anyway.

Hopefully, Beckham is able to get over this quad injury quickly. New York will face off against the Indianapolis Colts on the road next week and will have a chance to spoil Andrew Luck's potential playoff run.

Expect to see Beckham miss this week's game and then return to action in Week 15 in Indianapolis.
