There have been questions about New York Giants coach Pat Shurmur and if he will be allowed to complete the season as the team's coach.

After Monday night's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Shurmur was asked if he thought he would coach the team's final three games. He said yes, but also added that he would have to wait and see.

“Yeah, I do,” Shurmur said via Pro Football Talk. “But I just have to wait and see.”

One of the big reasons for the coaching change rumors has been the Giants losing streak. If they lose their game on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, that would be their 10th loss in a row, which would set the franchise record. Shurmur said he didn't have any comment on the losing streak and is just focused on the loss against the Eagles.

“I have no thoughts on that,” Shurmur said when asked about tying a team record for games-in-a-row futility. We lost a game tonight and I think that’s what we’re talking about. Unfortunately, that’s our reality right now and I have no thoughts on that other than the fact that we lost the game tonight.”

Even if he does finish the season, all signs are pointing towards Shurmur being let go when it is over. Most believed there would be some struggles with Daniel Jones under center, but after having a strong start to the season, he hasn't shown much improvement. That is concerning, especially with an offensive-minded head coach.
