Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is now known as an all-time great wrestler and a talented actor. But before he began his professional wrestling career, The Rock admits that his dream was to win a Super Bowl with the New York Giants.

Back in 1991, Johnson was a defensive lineman for the Miami Hurricanes when he was in college. As a matter of fact, Johnson was part of the Hurricanes' 1991 National Championship team.

Unfortunately, injuries caused Johnson to be benched by Miami for a guy named Warren Sapp. Of course, Sapp went on to become a Hall-of-Fame defensive tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After college, Johnson didn't get much interest from NFL teams. Therefore, he chose to take his talents to the Canadian Football League to play for the Calgary Stampeders.

His time with the Stampeders didn't last long as he was released by the team just a couple of months after signing. Then, following the end of his football career, Johnson began to get involved as a wrestler.

The rest is history as Johnson received the nickname “The Rock” while he became everyone's favorite wrestler. In recent years, Johnson has translated his skills in wrestling to the big screen as he's been in a bevy of movies and shows.

Even while he's had a successful career outside of football, he still wonders what could've been had he made it into the NFL. At the same time, fans in New York would've loved to see Johnson put on a Giants' uniform alongside Michael Strahan.
