Goat Simulator 3, not Goat Simulator 2, is revealed during the Summer Game Fest and is coming soon to PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

Coffee Stain Studios just trolled the hell out of everyone watching the Summer Game Fest. Apart from going straight from Goat Simulator to Goat Simulator 3, skipping a second entry altogether, the studio also made their reveal with a trailer that parodies the now-iconic Dead Island 2 E3 2014 trailer.

For a game not really taking itself too seriously, the trolling isn't entirely surprising. It gave all of us a light chuckle. Goat Simulator originally came out in 2014, and it was one of the first troll simulator games that came out to parody all of the simulator games that were realistic but boring that came out during that time. Almost a decade later, people moved on from the game but never forgot the hilarity that the physics-based chaos-producing simulator brought. And of course, nobody actually forgot about Goat Simulator, so people would of course notice that the game is titled with a 3 instead of a 2. Nobody would have missed the announcement for Goat Simulator 2, much less its release. Nice try, though, Coffee Stain.

The game currently has no release date yet, but the game can now be wishlisted on the Epic Games Store.
