Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are set to take on the Minnesota Vikings in a competitive Week 17 matchup. Green Bay comes into this one at 12-3 on the season while Minnesota comes in at 7-8. Ahead of the Vikings-Packers game on Sunday, we'll make our Packers Week 17 predictions.

Although Minnesota only has seven wins on the season, they're certainly a better team than their record shows. They've had some unfortunate luck and haven't been able to close out some ball games that have seen them lose by less than a touchdown in most of their contests.

Packers Week 17 Predictions

4. Aaron Rodgers throws for over 300 yards

There's a reason why Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in the NFL and that's not going to change against a Vikings team who has a below-average defense. Rodgers is going to throw for over 300 yards once again to help secure the 13th win of the season for Green Bay. On top of those three hundred yards, he's also going to throw two or three touchdowns and be the main reason why the Packers are going to win this game.

3. The game is close for most of the contest

When looking at all of the Vikings games this season, they're usually a close game. They usually win by a touchdown or lose by a touchdown or less. They're just one of those teams who are tough to blow out and that's the reason why they don't have many wins in the win column because they simply just can't put away games and have a hard time closing out some of their contests.

This isn't going to change in Week 17 as the Packers will still be able to come away with a comfortable win, but it will not be as easy as expected. Green Bay is going to win this game 24-13 and it will take a late-game touchdown for them to put it out of reach.

2. Green Bay only has a 3-point lead at halftime

The Packers are going to start off slow in this game and that's only going to lead to them having a 10-7 lead at halftime. It won't matter much because Rodgers is going to come out firing in the second half to put the Packers on the board and help secure this victory for his team. Minnesota doesn't have a great offense and they aren't going to be able to capitalize on the Packers' slow start.

1. Packers win their 13th game of the season

Although Green Bay has already won their division, this is still a game that they're going to want to win because they could be the first seed in the NFC. There are three eleven team wins right behind them. They have to make sure that they take care of business against the Vikings so they can have the playoffs run through Lambeau Field.
