All the talk this NBA season has been about the Golden State Warriors. They are of course having a very impressive season, and still have a shot at breaking the single-season wins record if they are victorious in their final three games.

But what about the San Antonio Spurs? The 2016-16 Spurs are on the precipice of greatness themselves: an undefeated home season.

The Warriors were en route to this feat as well before dropping two recent home contests, and yet most people aren't talking about the Spurs.

Maybe part of the reason is Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, who does not seem to care about a potential 41-0 home record:

Pop likely feels the way that Kobe Bryant does, as the Mamba recently explained how this year's terrible Lakers are no different than 28 other NBA teams.

Championships are all that matter for Pop and the Spurs, and whereas the Warriors are very publicly going after the wins record, the Spurs aren't. They're just focusing on the bigger picture.

The Warriors of course are focused on the championship as well, but they've admitted that the quest for 73 wins has been taxing on them.

Before the playoff run can begin for either team, they two must face off again – in San Antonio, with potentially both the Spurs' home record and the Warriors' 72nd win on the line. The Spurs starters will play in the game, so it won't be any cakewalk for Golden State.

As they say: something's gotta give.
