San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich and late TNT sideline reporter Craig Sager continue to have one of the most beautiful friendships despite being in different realms.
Popovich wore a very colorful tie to Sager’s funeral, inspired by the late’s sense of style, combining colorful patterns and different hues. The 67-year-old coach reached out to his son, Craig Sager Jr., and gave him that very tie on New Year’ Day when the Spurs played the Atlanta Hawks.
Didn't have time to see him at the funeral but met up after last night's game. He brought the tie he wore to the funeral w/ him to give me???????? pic.twitter.com/4OKYwCVVdZ

Popovich told NBA.com’s Scott Howard-Cooper during the season-opener against the Golden State Warriors that Sager was an “iconic, weird, and wonderful guy.”
