Tim Duncan has already retired and is no longer playing for the first time this season in 20 years, and San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich may still be having a hard time coming to terms with it.

The two have had a very good relationship in the past and are surely missing each other's company. It has been reported that Duncan was present during some of the team's practices in the offseason and Popovich said Duncan is more than welcome to visit the Spurs anytime.

The 67-year-old coach has gone as far as to say that he “feels lonely” without The Big Fundamental.

That's why it was not surprising at all when Popovich revealed how much they are texting one another these days, giving this hilarious statement on what emojis they use:

“We’re, like, in love. We text all the time.

Pop also provided hilarious statement on what emojis they use:

“Like the ones where you blow kisses? You guys make me say these things.”

He may joke about it but there is enough reason to believe he really misses Duncan a great amount. After being together for two decades, getting used to being apart from one another may take some time.

The good news is, they can text each other and use those emojis as much as they want to.
