Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant has just one message for all the doubters bashing his team after losing Game 1 of their playoff series with the Minnesota Timberwolves: he's taking notes.

The Timberwolves pulled off a shocker after dominating the Grizzlies in their Saturday showdown, 130-117, to take the 1-0 lead in the series and erase homecourt advantage. Of course many questioned Memphis and the way they played, allowing Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns to have their way on the offense.

Morant doesn't look bothered by the defeat, of course. However, he wants the haters to keep the same energy when they win.

Ja Morant has always responded well from criticisms, so the talks about him and the Grizzlies after the loss should only fuel him further.

While the Timberwolves looked a bad matchup for the Grizzlies, it is still too early to make any conclusion from Game 1. The playoffs has always been a chess battle, where adjustments will be key to win a series.

If there is one thing Memphis learned in the game, it's the fact that they have to find a way to stop Edwards and Towns from dominating inside and out. They really struggled defensively, and their 3-pointers just didn't go in.

Hopefully, Game 2 on Tuesday will be different for Grind City.
