There's no other person harder on Ja Morant than Ja Morant.

The Memphis Grizzlies on Monday had a hard time fending off the undermanned New Orleans Pelicans, who played minus their two All-Stars in Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram, plus Steven Adams due to various injuries. But in the end, Morant and company did enough to carve out a 115-110 win.

As he usually does, Morant immediately took to Twitter to air his thoughts after the game. While he acknowledged they hacked out a crucial win, he was hard on himself for his poor shooting from the free throw line.

Against the Pelicans, Morant took five shots from the charity stripe and missed all five of them. He is a 73.8 percent shooter from the free throw line this season, slightly lower than his 77.6 clip from his rookie campaign. It was a close game on Monday, and Morant knows that missing a few freebies could spell the difference come the NBA Playoffs.

He had a subpar game overall against the Pelicans, finishing with 12 points, three rebounds, and 12 assists (his only bright spot). He shot 5-of-14 from the field so it was truly an off-night for the reigning Rookie of the Year.

Still, Morant would gladly take the win as it tied them with the Golden State Warriors for the eighth spot in the Western Conference with identical 35-33 records. The Warriors, however, could quickly break the deadlock with a win over the Utah Jazz.

Ja Morant has always been a vocal leader and it's quite refreshing to see a star player being accountable for his shortcomings.
