Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant just loves to hoop, though he probably made everyone wish once again that he'd join the dunk contest with his latest venture outside the NBA hardcourt.

Recently Morant was spotted stopping by a high school in Alabama to play basketball with the kids in the facility. Of course the Grizzlies star showed his hops a couple of times, even jumping over a kid to throw down a massive slam.

Just look at his hops and elevation in the dunks he made. Oh, and did we mention he hit the griddy again?

Well, that's Ja Morant for you.

The Grizzlies youngster is one of, if not the most entertaining player in the NBA today. Alongside his swag and confidence, he has the game and athletic ability to back it off and electrify fans with every move he makes.

While the Grizzlies failed to make it past the second round in the 2022 NBA playoffs, losing to eventual champions Golden State Warriors, there's no denying that the future looks bright for them with Morant leading the way.

Hopefully, though, Morant will change his mind in the future about joining the dunk contest. With him participating, the competition could certainly see a revival. Of course another option is fulfilling his demand of 1 billion likes. …
