Ja Morant is about to get a whole lot richer. Not that he isn't already extremely wealthy, but after Thursday's bombshell about his massive $193 million, five-year extension with the Memphis Grizzlies, the 22-year-old is about to truly get filthy rich.

Morant took to Twitter to share his reaction to his new deal, and the Grizzlies superstar had just one word to say:

Ja added a photo of Franklin Saint from FX's hit show Snowfall wherein the young street entrepreneur is pictured counting stacks of money. This is actually a great and very accurate representation of the Grizzlies stud now that he has broken the bank.

One can argue that $193 million is far too much money for a 22-year-old. Well, those who believe in this notion probably haven't seen Ja Morant play. He may be young and reckless, but there's no denying that this new deal is worth every penny for the Grizzlies.

Last season, in just his third year in the NBA, Morant took his game to a whole new level. The former second overall pick earned his first All-Star nod with across-the-board career averages of 27.4 points on 49.3 percent shooting, 5.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 1.2 steals, while also connecting on 1.5 triples per contest.

Morant is a generational talent and he has the makings of being the face of the NBA in the next few years. The Grizzlies are well aware of this, and they just made sure to secure their investment.
