Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant earned All-NBA Second Team honors after his phenomenal 2021-22 season; however, his teammate Jaren Jackson Jr. was not happy with that.

For JJJ, Morant should have been first team, and he made that known on Twitter after the NBA officially announced the voting results on Tuesday.

Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Devin Booker, Luka Doncic and Jayson Tatum headlined the All-NBA First Team, while Ja Morant ended up in the Second Team alongside Joel Embiid, DeMar DeRozan, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry.

Nonetheless, it's easy to see where Jaren Jackson Jr. is coming from. The Grizzlies finished with the second-best record in the NBA, and it should be a given that their best player makes it to the First Team. Unfortunately for Morant, the voters didn't see it that way, with Doncic and Booker getting way more first-place votes at the guard spot.

Regardless of their position in the All-NBA Teams, though, no one can deny Morant's incredible season with the Grizzlies. He's a huge part of their success this year, and after experiencing a good run in the playoffs, they are only expected to come back better come 2022-23.

With the way things are trending, it's not hard to see Morant earning First Team honors next season as well.
