The Memphis Grizzlies have rounded out their roster for the last few games of the season by signing former Kentucky Wildcat start Marquis Teague for the rest of the season.

Since being signed by the Grizzlies Teague has appeared in two games as a reserve and although his stats don't pop out he did average 26 minutes per game in those two games. He averaged four points, five assists and two rebounds so far this season with the Grizzlies.

He was selected with the 29th pick of the first round in 2012 by the Chicago Bulls, but has only seen 90 games in the NBA between the Bulls, Brooklyn Nets, and the Grizzlies.

After being out of the NBA he bounced around overseas before joining in the Memphis Hustle of the NBA G-League in 2017. He played in 47 games this year for the Hustle putting up 17.6 points, 6.1 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game.

He has proven to be a really good shooter from deep and this year is shooting 42.7 percent from deep. Marquis is the younger brother of Minnesota Timberwolves point guard, Jeff Teague.

If Marquis can have a couple big games before the season ends, which he should have plenty of minutes to make it happen maybe that will be enough for him to get another shot in the NBA next year.
