The Atlanta Hawks continue to hunt for the last few players to fill their roster.

Free agent Will Bynum has emerged as one of the names the team will work out alongside Ryan Kelly, Dionte Christmas, Richard Solomon and Xavier Munford.

While the Hawks currently have 17 players on their training camp roster, Bynum could prove to be a valuable asset.

The Georgia Tech product spent six of his eight NBA seasons with the Detroit Pistons and proved to be a reliable back-up point guard.

While lacking in size, the 6-foot Chicago native is fearless driving to the basket and can torch teams if he's allowed to heat up. Only a career 27.2-percent three-point shooter, but a good free-throw shooter and capable passer that will run plays for the team.

His veteran savvy could play a part as a third-string point guard behind Dennis Schröder and fellow Georgia Tech alum Jarrett Jack.

Will Bynum last played for the Washington Wizards in the 2014-15 season, but only played seven games, where he averaged 3.1 points and 2.6 assists per game.
