Bogdan Bogdanovic is pumped about playing with Trae Young on the Atlanta Hawks.

After the Sacramento Kings declined to match the Hawks' four-year offer sheet for Bogdanovic, the talented small forward got a message from his new point guard on Twitter and responded back.

The Hawks are certainly going to be a fun team to watch next season. Their starting lineup will likely be Trae Young, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Cam Reddish, John Collins and Clint Capela. Danilo Gallinari, on the other hand, is set to come off the bench.

Aside from Gallo, Atlanta will also have a great bench unit with Rajon Rondo, Kevin Huerter, De'Andre Hunter, Kris Dunn and Bruno Fernando leading the way.

The Hawks finished the 2019-20 season with the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference before games were suspended in March due to COVID-19. The franchise was under immense pressure to surround Young with more talent, and general manager Travis Schlenk came through with flying colors.

With the way things look, at least on paper, the Hawks could very well make the playoffs next season for the first time since 2017. Basketball fans want to see Young play in the postseason since he's already one of the most exciting players to watch in the NBA. The 22-year-old is averaging 23.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 8.6 assists per game since getting drafted in 2018.

With the Kings last season, Bogdanovic put up 15.1 points, 3.4 boards and 3.4 assists in 61 games.
