The Atlanta Hawks may have bowed out in six games in the Eastern Conference Finals, but they have nothing to be ashamed of. Trae Young and his team weren't even supposed to be there, and yet they were two games away from a trip to the NBA Finals.
Trae Young had three simple words after the loss, declaring that his Hawks are going to be back stronger than ever next season. Young had the same three words as he exited the playing court and also in his first tweet after the defeat.
“We'll be back.”

The Hawks guard doubled down on it during the postgame presser as well, making sure that everyone knew that he meant it.

“I definitely believe we'll be back, and I meant that with my whole heart,” the Hawks star emphasized to reporters after the game.
Trae Young definitely had the bite to back up his bark. The Hawks point guard was historically good in the 16 postseason games he played in, averaging nearly 30 points and 10 assists if you average up. His line was done just once in NBA history aside from Trae Young this season – LeBron James with the Cleveland Cavaliers back in 2018.

If their spirited playoff run was any indication, the Hawks definitely look like they're gonna be a force to be reckoned with for years to come. Trae Young will be right at the center of it when it happens.
