Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young called out Ronnie 2K, the digital marketing director at 2K Sports, after a narrow loss to Deandre Ayton in his quarterfinal matchup of the NBA 2K Tournament.

Young, playing with the Los Angeles Lakers had led the entire game but carried only a one-point lead entering the fourth, as the Phoenix Suns center pulled away in the final minutes of regulation with Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers.

Ronnie 2K took to Twitter to bash Young for blowing the lead, but Young hit back right away.

NBA 2K20 has been known to have gameplay flaws that have irked players like De'Aaron Fox and others. Trae Young let Ronnie 2K know all about it with his response.

In all fairness, Ronnie 2K is a marketing director, not a gameplay engineer — so whatever flaws are in the game are not really his fault. He has, however, had his share of mishaps in the past as a social media personality.

Prior to the start of the tournament, Ronnie left his streaming device on unknowingly and called center DeMarcus Cousins “a d*ck” while on air, only to realize his camera had been on the entire time.

People quickly took notice of that gaffe, but even after Ronnie apologized for his mistake, Cousins and the rest of the players had already caught wind of his reaction.

Young and Ayton's matchup was easily the most fun to watch as a good Lakers vs. Clippers rivalry. Ayton will move on to the semifinals along with Devin Booker, Montrezl Harrell, and Patrick Beverley.
