Atlanta Hawks forward Tony Snell knocked down a huge game-winning trey against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday, and teammate Trae Young is loving every bit of it.

Young, who was responsible for finding the wide-open Snell on the Hawks' final possession, immediately took to Twitter to send out some much-deserved praise towards the 29-year-old Snell.

The superstar sophomore was incredible on Thursday as he led the Hawks with a game-high of 37 points, five rebounds, and six assists.

Though he had six turnovers, he made the game's biggest play with his sixth assist landing perfectly in the hands of Snell who had ice water in his veins and knocked down the last-second triple for the Hawks, who flew off the court in a euphoric state after snatching a 50-50 game in its dying moments.

If you watch the play, Snell actually wasn't the first option for the Hawks, who have endured a highly turbulent situation and are currently trying to deal with an interim coaching situation before looking at a pivotal offseason.

After getting the inbounds pass, Young got a pick from Danilo Gallinari and drove hard to the basket. He had Gallo waiting on top of the key with John Collins to his left and a cutting Kevin Huerter under the basket for the Hawks. Three Raptors defenders collapsed on Young and crowded the paint but the pressure didn't get to the 22-year-old and as he took his time and found the best option in Snell.

Snell, for his part, didn't disappoint. The journeyman, who's been a staple in Atlanta's starting unit for the past few games, knocked down his second triple of the night to give the Hawks the slim one-point win over Toronto.

Snell logged in 26 minutes and totaled six points, four rebounds, two assists, and had a +11 rating for the Hawks, who moved to 17-20, tied with the Raptors in the East. The Hawks' head-to-head win gives them a standings tiebreaker which technically makes Atlanta the eighth-place team in the East. Toronto is ninth.
