The Atlanta Hawks are sitting in an advantageous spot in this year's draft currently holding the third overall pick that presents many different options in front of them.

According to Zach Klein of WSB in Atlanta, the Hawks are potentially considering taking Read Madrid star wingman Luka Doncic and trade him to the Dallas Mavericks at the fifth overall spot in order to land Oklahoma's Trae Young.

The Hawks have a strong desire to add to their backcourt with a young promising talent with what looks likes to be an effort to move off point guard Dennis Schroder as their centerpiece to the team. Young's name has become a name associated with Atlanta in hours leading up to the draft.

The 19-year-old is an intriguing talent with the ability to heavily impact the game offensively with scoring and passing. He is coming off a stellar lone season at Oklahoma where he finished leading the nation with both 27.4 points and 8.7 assists per contest while also setting the Big 12 record with 811 points scored in conference play.

Meanwhile, Doncic has been widely regarded as being one of the top prospects in this year's draft that has seen him develop into a polished offensive talent. He is a versatile wing player that can be a high-impact offensive factor behind his scoring ability to create his own shot while possessing the athletic capability that lends well to him being a physical force at the rim.

The addition of Doncic would give the Mavericks another young talent to build around alongside second-year point guard Dennis Smith Jr. as well as Harrison Barnes. It could give him the opportunity to learn from Dirk Nowitzki, who is in the final stages of his illustrious career. All of this only speaks to their being plenty of movement on that could be on its way during the draft.
