Atlanta Hawks superstar Trae Young went off on the referees after their Game 2 loss against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night. The All-Star point guard was complaining about how the game officials allegedly let the Heat players “be as physical as they are and not call fouls,” which apparently, did not sit too well with Bam Adebayo.

The Heat star responded to Young's hot take with a fiery jab of his own. Adebayo contested Young's argument by pointing out that he was actually in foul trouble throughout the latter part of Tuesday's win:

“I had four fouls. P.J. was in foul trouble,” Adebayo said after Thursday's practice, via Shandel Richardson of FanNation. “You got two starters in foul trouble so I don't know how the refs are letting us get away with it if I'm sitting the whole  third (quarter) and P.J. didn't play the majority of the fourth.”

It wasn't only Adebayo who was in foul trouble that night. Starting forward PJ Tucker was also limited due to his fouls. In this respect, it seems that Adebayo is completely refuting Trae Young's implication that the referees were calling the game in favor of the Heat.
