Miami Heat icon Dwyane Wade has nothing but high praises for head coach Erik Spoelstra, who was named into the NBA's 15 Greatest Coaches list on Tuesday.

The NBA unveiled the list as part of its celebration of the league's 75th anniversary. After revealing the Top 75 players of all time earlier in the campaign, it was time for the coaches to take the spotlight.

Aside from Spoelstra, former Heat coach and current team president Pat Riley also made the list. They were joined by Red Auerbach, Larry Brown, Chuck Daly, Red Holzman, Phil Jackson, KC Jones, Steve Kerr, Don Nelson, Gregg Popovich, Jack Ramsay, Doc Rivers, Jerry Sloan and Lenny Wilkens. The 15-man list was selected by a panel of 43 current and former NBA coaches and was made in collaboration with the Coaches Association.

After learning of Spoelstra's selection, Wade shared his thoughts on Coach Spo's greatness and why he deserves the recognition. While Riley paved the way for the 51-year-old coach, Spoelstra made things even better in Miami.

Indeed, while there are other coaches who had more career wins than Erik Spoelstra, what he has accomplished with the Heat is worthy of praise. After all, it's never easy to handle a trio of superstars at the peak of their primes and making things work.

Not to mention that it is even more difficult to keep a team competitive after those three superstars leave.

Spoelstra has established himself as one of the best in the business, and as Dwyane Wade said it, he has left his DNA in the Heat culture. Now, the Miami franchise is competing once again and appears to be poised for another title contention.
