Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat is one with the basketball world in witnessing the career night of Minnesota Timberwolves guard Derrick Rose.

Via Twitter, Wade said:

In their 128-125 win against the Utah Jazz, Rose finished with a career-high 50 points along with seven assists, and four rebounds.

Rose's performance comes in after years of battling injuries, trying to remain in tip-top shape, and ultimately, finding a team which is willing to take him in.

And last season, Derrick Rose found himself with the Cleveland Cavaliers with Dwyane Wade. This is perhaps why Wade sent out his reaction. During their short stint as teammates, Wade got a firsthand look at Rose and the hard work he puts in every day. Wade added that every basketball fan should be happy for seeing Rose perform like his old self again.

After the string of knee injuries, most critics believed that Rose's career is officially over. They already put the dot on Rose's narrative as the youngest MVP in league history whose career was cut short by unfortunate injuries.

Rose, however, kept working on his story. It was pretty obvious that the Timberwolves guard still knew how to play the game. His athletism was still intact. Not as good as he once was but it was decent enough to score. And tonight, it was good enough to score a career-high 50 points.

And during the post-game interview, Rose couldn't contain his emotions. Finally, all his hard work is paying off.
