When Dwyane Wade was traded last year from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Miami Heat it seemed like a great fit for both teams. He wasn't really working on the Cavaliers and it was time to move on. This gave him a chance to go back to the team where he spent most of his career.

It also saved Wade's career because he realized he could still play a high level of basketball as long as he is in the right situation.

“I enjoyed being around the guys,” Wade said via The Sun Sentinal. “Obviously, I didn't like the fact we lost 4-1 [to the Philadelphia 76ers] in the playoffs. But for me to get back to my comfort zone and show that being in the right situation with the right opportunities that I could still play this game — maybe not above the rim but play the game at a level that can help the team be successful — all those things for me were great.”

Watching Wade play with the Heat last here he seemed to have the love of the game back, something that seemed to be missing with the Cavaliers. Even knowing he has a lot left that he could give to the game Wade still hasn't decided if he wants to come back for one more season.

This summer he has taken time doing a tour in China and has been watching a lot of his son play on the AAU circuit.

“I get more passion watching my son play the game right now and more joy than I did even playing it myself. There's just something about being a parent and watching your kid do something that you love and that they love to do.”
