At just 16 years of age, Zaire Wade still has a long ways to go before he makes it to the NBA. However, it may become shorter with the NBA and NBPA in serious discussions of eliminating the one-and-done rule by 2020, his high school class basically.

This helps the odds of him and his father — none other than Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade — ever playing against or alongside one another, albeit with a tiny chance of happening.

Still, the teenager is already turning heads with his recent appearance in a Miami Pro League game featuring notable NBA players from Andre Drummond to disgruntled Heat center Hassan Whiteside. Of particular interest is a clip of the 6-foot-2 guard shaking and baking the New York Knicks' Tim Hardaway Jr. with some sick dribble moves and knocking down a fadeaway jumper after creating some separation.

Zaire's team would go on to win the game in a close one, 99-97.

His stepmom, Gabrielle Union, was equally impressed and re-tweeted the video on her feed.

Zaire first came into prominence as a 10-year-old on the John Lucas Future of the Game camp and is widely considered as one of the top young prospects in the country. He initially played his freshman ball on his dad's hometown of Chicago at Mount Carmen High School before moving to American Heritage School in Florida where he continues to turn heads.

Although he is presently not ranked, the board changes rather frequently and the promising young guard could probably see his stock rise up especially with plays like these.
