The Miami Heat had a great 2017-18 season, but they were officially eliminated from the playoffs on Tuesday night when the Philadelphia 76ers won Game 5 of their first round series. Miami's season had a couple of ups, downs, and one shocking trade to bring Heat legend Dwyane Wade back home to South Beach for another playoff run.

Wade started out the season with good friend LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers after he secured a buyout from the tanking Chicago Bulls. Th experiment didn't really work well for the Cavs, and they ended up sending Wade back to Miami for a future pick. Wade averaged 12 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game on 41 percent shooting in his 21 games with the Heat during the regular season and upped his averages to 16.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.4 blocks per game on 44.3 percent shooting in the five playoff games.

Now, the focus shifts to Wade, 36 years of age, and his future in the NBA. There are murmurs that Wade would consider retirement this summer, while others say and hope he returns for another season, his 16th in the NBA. If he does return, it will be with the Miami Heat, a team he's played 13 and a half seasons with over his 15-year career.

Following the Game 5 loss, Wade's wife, actress Gabrielle Union, took to Twitter to express her support for her husband and throw him a few compliments.

If this is indeed Wade's final year, he will end his career as a 12-time All-Star and a three-time NBA Champion. Many fans haven't had a chance to say goodbye to Wade and show their appreciation for the Heat star.
