Like the rest of the world, Miami Heat superstar Jimmy Butler continues to be in awe by the massive improvement of his teammate Bam Adebayo in the 2019-20 NBA campaign.

The 30-year-old swingman was pleased with Adebayo's handiwork in the Heat's 100-89 victory over the Washington Wizards at The Capital One Arena on Sunday.

The 6-foot-9 slotman notched another dominant double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds on top of six assists, prompting Butler to call Bam a “future max player” shortly after the game.

Jimmy Butler was sidelined for much of the second half of the match due to a bothersome left toe. He was just limited to nine points and had to leave the game for good at the four-minute mark of the third period.

“I couldn't move the way I wanted to move,” Butler said post-game, per the Associated Press.  “I think we all have enough faith in each other, in this group of guys, to get it done, (even if) we're a man or two down. This was a big step in the right direction for us.”

Bam Adebayo certainly picked up the slack with Butler gone, leading the Heat to a blistering 27-3 run to put the game out of reach.

This, of course, is not the first time Butler had high praises for the third-year big from Kentucky. Earlier this season, Butler took offense when a reporter claimed that Miami only has one All-Star in the team.

Adebayo has since proven worthy of Butler's adulation, tallying career-highs across the board this season. He has been a godsend on both ends of the floor for the Heat, averaging 16.1 points, 10.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.2 steal and 1.3 block in 64 games so far. The 22-year-old was also named an All-Star for the first time last February and is the frontrunner for the Most Improved Player award this season.
