Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat were very close to infamously blowing a 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals to the Boston Celtics. After securing their spot in the NBA Finals, Butler decided to spotlight an Instagram DM he received from a Heat fan that perfectly encapsulated how all of Miami felt going into Game 7.

Jimmy Butler bursts into laughter as the fan's tone changes from professional to pure desperation as he begs for Butler to beat the Celtics and avoid squandering a 3-0 lead. Luckily for the fan, Butler did his job on his way to securing Eastern Conference Finals MVP and a spot in the NBA Finals.
The NBA Finals will tip-off Thursday night, and the Heat will have their toughest opponent yet in the Denver Nuggets. Denver has cruised through the Western Conference and Nikola Jokic looks like the best player in the world; Jimmy Butler might be playing at an elite level himself, but the Heat as a team will need a gargantuan effort in order to beat the Nuggets.
Game 1 on Thursday will be very important for the Heat's chances of winning the series, as they have made a habit of taking Game 1 on the road so far. Every series they have played in saw the Heat take a 1-0 lead and their confidence would skyrocket if they were able to do the same on Thursday night in Denver.
