The Miami Heat lost to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, but that's the least of their concerns right now. After all, Jimmy Butler left the game after re-aggravating his tail bone injury following a scary fall.

Midway through the third quarter, Butler had to leave the contest for good after he took a hard fall on his backside. The Heat star was able to get up on his own, but he was clearly not in good shape following the play and headed to the locker room to get checked.

Jimmy Butler just returned on Monday for the same tail bone injury that kept him out for four straight games. With that said, it raised concerns that the star forward could be sidelined for some time again as the Heat look to let him recover fully from the issue.

The 32-year-old played in 25 minutes and tallied 10 points, five rebounds and four assists before exiting the contest. Prior to the contest, he was averaging 23.6 points, 5.8 boards and 5.3 dimes.

The severity of Butler's injury remains unclear, but as mentioned, it won't be surprising if the Heat sit him out.

With Bam Adebayo still recovering from his thumb injury, the last thing the Heat want is another injury to another star player. Nonetheless, the team can only endure the adversity now and adopt a “next-man-up” mentality as they try to reverse their fortunes.
