The Miami Heat will be facing an extremely tough test on Wednesday night as they take on the surging Celtics in Boston. The Heat have made headlines of late after the highly-publicized in-game spat between Jimmy Butler and coach Erik Spoelstra, which has led to some people questioning this team's chemistry.

Jimmy Butler has spoken out about his team's current status and at this point, the feisty Heat star has come out to remind the rest of the NBA about just how dangerous Miami truly is:

“I feel like we put together this roster to win a championship,” Butler said. “It feels like a championship-caliber team. It does. We have lapses at times. We got a couple more days, games to figure it all out. But when we’re clicking, when we're guarding, when we're making shots, when we're sharing the ball, I think we’re going to be really tough to beat.”

The Heat are currently sitting at the top spot in the Eastern Conference with a 48-28 record. They have been at the summit for quite some time now, but the Celtics could close in on them on Wednesday night. Boston could tie Miami's record with a win, while the second-placed Milwaukee Bucks could claim the top spot on Thursday if they manage to defeat Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and the Brooklyn Nets in New York.

Needless to say, Wednesday's matchup is going to be an important game for the Heat in terms of maintaining their lead up top. However, it will also put their resilience to the test amid the internal issues they may be facing right now. The Heat finally snapped their four-game losing streak on Monday with a 123-100 blowout win against the Kings, but Sacramento isn't exactly the most formidable opponent out there. A victory against the Celtics on Wednesday should serve as a statement win for Miami.

Butler was also able to somewhat address the elephant in the room in his statement, albeit in passing. He acknowledged how they “have lapses” on certain occasions, which could be in reference to his altercation with coach Spo last week. As he implied, it appears that the Heat are doing their best to put this episode behind them as they look to refocus their attention on their championship aspirations this season.
