Marcus Morris just cannot understand why Erik Spoelstra and the Miami Heat are not playing his brother, Markieff Morris, despite him being available against the Boston Celtics.

The Los Angeles Clippers forward doesn't see any reason for his twin brother to sit out, especially with the Heat needing an extra boost on both ends of the floor as they struggle to find their rhythm.

Take Game 5 for example. The Heat's starting unit had a hard time scoring, with Kyle Lowry and Max Strus even failing to score and combining for 0-of-15 from the field. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo led the way, but their performance was not to their usual standard. Certainly, Miami could have used a major change during Wednesday's contest.

Marcus Morris has every reason to be frustrated. After all, that's family he's talking about. Who wants to see their brother rot on the bench anyway?

Unfortunately, it's easy to see where Erik Spolestra and the Heat are coming from. Markieff just didn't have the chance to play a lot with the team during the 2021-22 season because of a back injury. He suit up in just 17 contests and had a down year, averaging 7.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists.

It remains to be seen if anything will change for Markieff in Game 6, but with the Heat facing elimination, Marcus shouldn't have his hopes up.
