The Miami Heat are moving on to the next round in the NBA playoffs. After soundly defeating the Philadelphia 76ers, they are going to the Eastern Conference Finals again. Jimmy Butler led the way while Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro, PJ Tucker and the Heat stepped up for the injured Kyle Lowry in the NBA playoffs.

Disregarding last season, in which Miami only had an offseason of a couple of months to get ready, Butler has brought the Heat to the conference finals in both seasons of his Heat tenure. Tucker, fresh off an NBA championship with the Milwaukee Bucks, signed with the Heat to get back to playing at a high level with a new squad. They have done just that.

Tucker admitted that it took playing alongside Butler on the Heat for him to understand how good he is. After thinking he was just “alright” Tucker said that his star teammate is never afraid of the big moments and gives everyone on the team confidence.

Butler had a fantastic series against his former team, averaging 27.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists while shooting 51.3 percent from the field. His fantastic scoring led the Heat and he played a huge part in slowing down the Sixers' offense. Now, Butler, Tucker and the squad are searching for a berth in the NBA Finals.

The Heat will face either the Bucks or Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. With the Bucks up 3-2 and Game 6 being at their house, it's likely that Tucker will now get the chance to defeat his former team in the NBA playoffs.
