Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade is without a doubt one of the greatest players who has ever played the game. He's pretty new to this broadcasting gig, though, and co-hosts Shaquille O'Neal and Candace Parker made sure to call out D-Wade following a hilarious on-air flub.

Wade was part of TNT's broadcast team that covered the matchup between the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday. The Heat icon was describing Danny Green's role for the Sixers when he inadvertently invented a new word (h/t NBA on TNT on Twitter):

In case you missed it, Wade just said that he believes Danny Green has been a consistent “defenser” his entire career. The three-time NBA champ clearly wanted to say “defender” but for reasons unknown, a different and totally foreign word slipped out.

Wade almost got away with it too, but Shaq just couldn't let the moment pass without calling out his buddy. Candace Parker also caught wind of Wade's blunder and she too decided to join in on the fun.

For the record, however, Shaq isn't exactly the best when it comes to pronunciation. He's had his fair share of blunders in the past, and he may not be in a good position to call Wade out here. That's not stopping O'Neal from having a good laugh about this, though.

Dwyane Wade was pretty red-faced with his error, and he had to have a sip of water to hide his embarrassment. It's all in a day's work, and Wade should only get better in his new role as he gets more reps in. This just goes to show that nerves get to even the best of them.
